Community Service Projects

Since our inception, Springtree has been committed to giving back to our community. Each year, we have completed one or more community service projects, some on our own and some in partnership with the North Texas Roofing Contractors Association (NTRCA) or Rebuilding Together.

Springtree’s community service roofing projects have included:

St. Philip’s Episcopal Church in Frisco, Texas

Springtree Restoration, ER Systems and Energy Roofing Solutions (all members of the North Texas Roofing Contractors Association – NTRCA) joined forces in 2016 to donate a new roof to the St. Philip’s Episcopal Preschool in Frisco, just in time before hail assaulted the area. A Beloved Preschool Teacher’s Home

Award-winning community service roofing project NTRCA Springtree Roofing

Members of the North Texas Roofing Contractors Association (NTRCA) came together in a project led by Springtree’s AJ Huckaby to donate the materials and labor needed to build a badly needed new roof for the home of a beloved preschool teacher in Grand Prairie TX, who had fallen on hard times due to medical issues and a contributing mold issue in her home.  NTRCA members who donated materials and labor to the project included:  ABC Supply Melissa, ABC Supply White Settlement, ER Systems, KPost Company, Polston Sales and Marketing/Ross Manufacturing, Springree Roofing and Restoration, SuperRoofman, TriVAN Roofing and Waterproofing and West End Roofing and Siding. AJ Huckaby, NTRCA president-elect at the time and owner of Springtree Restoration lead the project for NTRCA.

No Roof Left Behind Community Service Project – Salazar Family

Springtree Roofing and Restoration No Roof Left Behind Community Service Project

Springtree, in partnership with No Roof Left Behind, donated a new roof (and more) to a very deserving homeowner, completing the project in time for the holidays in 2017.  George and his late wife, Bertha, were nominated for Springtree’s No Roof Left Behind roof giveaway by their daughter Stephanie. When she nominated them, her mom was in the midst of fighting her third bout with cancer, and her dad had been forced to retire to take care of his wife, who required 24/7 care and monthly trips back and forth to Houston for treatment. With the couple’s funds already significantly strained, their home and automobiles were hit by hail storms in both April and May of the same year and then, to make matters worse, their home’s air conditioning went out during the summer. They could not afford the new roof or other home repairs they needed and, in August, sweet Bertha passed away.

Beyond the roof, other generous and compassionate manufacturers and local contractors jumped on board to help and provided additional home restoration services, including new windows, paint, trim and outdoor lighting. Window replacement materials and work was donated by Burris Windows, Cardinal Glass and installer Jeremy Lewis with Going Green Window Replacement. A new exterior paint job was donated by: Sherwin Williams (paint) and Jireh Painting (labor). New exterior siding and trim was donated by Springtree Roofing and Restoration (materials and labor), and new exterior lighting was provided by Springtree (materials) and G4B Electric (licensed electricians).
